The tournament of poker is a competition between the poker players. It can be between two players only on a single table, which is called the tournament of “heads-up”, or it can be between tens of thousands of people on thousands of the tables.

The techniques you pick to initiate hands in the three of the phases of a poker tournament are entirely different in all. The three phases of the tournament are the beginning, the middle and the end game.

The Beginning of the game

In the beginning of the game, you have the freedom either to play tremendously tight or loose as per your wish. If you make up your mind to play loose pre-flop, you have to still play tight subsequent to the flop despite of anything. You better not go chasing over cards only because the blinds are small. If the blinds are small to a sufficient amount, you can go calling hands of sub-par pre-flop and look forward to hit a flop of jackpot. This tactic can work greatly, but it can also whittle away at the tack of your chips.

The Middle Game of the Starting Hands

In the middle game, the size of your stack has a connection with your starting hands that you select to play. You would require going for taking more hard-line risks if you are reaching low. But by sitting on a fat looking stack, you could have enough money to play tight and steal the blinds. This part of the tournament gives the feeling to the game of being a cash game. You play good hands and ditch the not so good hands.

The ending Game

The end part of the game is composed of three parts. They are game of Bubble, game of Post-Bubble and game of the final table. Let us try to get to know and understand the concepts of the three parts.

Game of bubble

Game of bubble is when the majority of the players are playing tight to try and acquire the money. In this situation you should learn to loosen up and go for stealing as many blinds as you possible by you.

Game of Post-bubble

Game of post-bubble is the initial few rounds after the bubble gets burst. In this situation the majority of the players would be playing much looser, particularly if they are low on the amount of the chips and they are likely to decide and go for all-in. You should be playing tight in this situation if you can and stay away from getting involved in the fights of all-in.

Game of the Final table game

Finally, the game of the final table is whilst everything is complete. At this point of the situation, almost all the decisions are made basing on the stack of the poker chips, the position of the chips and the reads of the chips. Unluckily, all the situations and the tournaments are like chalk and cheese at this point of the tournament and hence giving the starting hands would not be making quite sense.
